Cottage Cheese & Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lettuce, looseleaf, fresh, shredded
  • 3/4 cup Cottage Cheese 2% fat
  • 1/4 cup Mixed Fruit chunky, w/fruit juice
  • 8 Crackers, whole wheat

Instructions

Per each serving, place 1/2 cup lettuce on a plate. Place 1/2 the cottage cheese on the lettuce and top with 2 tablespoons of fruit. Serve 4 crackers with each cottage cheese/fruit salad. Yield: 2 weight-loss-friendly or 1 standard servings (double the nutritional value).
TIPS:
This is a higher sodium entree, pair it with a low sodium side dish, and consume lower sodium meals throughout the day. Stop eating at the first sign of fullness.
