LaMonica battled with her weight for about 18 years. She had high cholesterol and struggled with acid reflux. LaMonica decided she wanted a VSG {gastric sleeve} and had surgery with Dr. Sherman Yu on July 30, 2019. It’s been three months and she’s down 30 pounds!!! Since having the surgery LaMonica has more energy, the quality of her sleep and her reflux has improved! LaMonica says she feels more confident in her clothes! This is just the beginning of her journey and we are so excited to track her progress!
