I contacted TLC January 2016. After the required EGD, Dr. Yu discovered that I had Barrett's disease and precancerous cells in my esophagus. We changed my procedure from VSG sleeve to Gastric bypass. This procedure took place July 18, 2016. (Just 9 days before my 40th birthday!) I'm SO glad we made the change. My health has improved leaps and bounds! My life has changed in every possible way. I meal prep and go to the gym, lifting weights and getting the body I thought I'd never be able to achieve. In 1 year I lost 128 lbs and gained confidence that I can do anything I put my mind to.
