I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 23. After I had my second child, I gained 50lbs in two months due to the hormones in my birth control and the hormonal imbalances that come with PCOS. I continued to gain weight but I knew I had to take care of myself to avoid the health issues that run in my family as well as those that come with being overweight. I am so happy that I have been able to lose 45lbs in the past 4 months with the gastric sleeve. I am have so much energy to help me keep up with my kids and all the activities they want to engage in!
