After having children, Demetria’s weight started climbing, along with her cholesterol levels and her blood pressure. She was developing anxiety about her declining health, especially after becoming diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and osteoarthritis as well. Last year, June 2017, after extensive research of Houston bariatric surgeons, Demetria had the sleeve gastrectomy with Dr. Sherman Yu at TLC. Today, she is down 100lbs and her sleep apnea is gone! With overall improvement of her health, Demetria is more energized and feels she has added more years to her life. She’s striving for more weight loss, and we can’t wait to see the results!!
