I had the gastric sleeve surgery performed. I had a great procedure and did not have any complications. It has been almost a year, I have lost 170 pounds and I am off my blood pressure medication. I started at 467 pounds,  I was really up there, I didn't let it stop me but it was hard getting up and down. Once I had the surgery I started walking and after 3 months started working out. I just have loads of energy. I have to find stuff to do during the day so I won't be bored. It has been great. I look at myself going out buying new clothes and shopping - the reactions you get from people who haven't seen you and they can't believe how good you look. It has been life-changing. I would like to thank Dr. Scarborough and his staff for being so nice. They talked me through the procedure, about what was going to happen before and afterwards. I can't thank them enough. It has changed my life and made me a happier person, it has been great.
